Welcome from the Vice-Provost and Dean

Paul HellewellI am delighted to introduce you to the College of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences. The College is comprised of three departments that cover life sciences, clinical and health-related subjects across a number of disciplines. We teach and train 4000 students and have around 300 academic and professional and support staff in the College. We strive for excellence and contribute enthusiastically to the University’s priorities.

Our vision is to be a College that is distinguished by excellence in education and the learning experience, that conducts world leading research, and ensures its activities have a real impact on human health.

The College specialises in courses that enable our graduates to make a real difference to the world around them. Through our key strategic partnerships we aim to make 91Ó°ÊÓUniversity London a key part of health research in the UK.Whether it is through medical breakthroughs that aid those suffering from disease, research designed to aid elite athletes improve their performance or programmes to train the next generation of health professionals, we aim to produce graduates who stand willing and able to make a difference.
